Home sweet home

Natural Resources Council of Maine released a global warming report this week, and here's Damariscotta at 1m and 6m rise in sea level.

I'm just sayin'.

Thank you for posting this. People are not paying enough attention to this subject, (probably thinking about Iraq, or doughnut holes, or something).
We have property way up the coast which will become waterfront if all comes to pass. Cool, except that we won't be able to get to it but by boat.
US Rt 1 would be washed out in York?, Scarborough, Falmouth, beyond Bath, Wiscassitt, the rest area before Damiriscotta, Hancock. Sullivan. and on down the coast.
Who will pay to reroute US1?
Who will pay for a ferry to Sullivan? (Not only will Rt 1 go, but Rt 200 will be gone as well.)
Rt. 1 is the highway of the coast in Maine.
Most of the PEOPLE live on the coast.
The cost will be something we have never seen before.
And the bugs. The insects attacking our farms, and our forests.
And still Olympia! is our senator.
